no one is ever too busy for you. that’s a lie. you make time for what you want

Ok, I kind of really hate this mindset? Like, ok yes, you do make time for things that are important to you, but sometimes you have to be conscious of the things that are important NOW, like your job, like your living situation, like dealing with other friends and family, like getting adequate amounts of rest to preserve your health. It’s honestly kind of selfish and manipulative to have the mindset “if you loved me you’d find time for me” because sometimes, people are busy. Sometimes, you have to suck it up and put on your big person pants and understand that it’s unfair to guilt someone into spending time with you.
